Charles Mensa is the founder and Chairman of the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) in Accra. He also serves as Board Chairman of SAB Miller Ghana and Fan Milk. Previously, he was CEO of Volta Aluminum Company (VALCO), the largest aluminum smelter in sub-Saharan Africa, Board Chairman of Barclays Bank Ghana, and a director of Maersk Shipping. Charles has served as VP of the Association of Ghana Industries and President of the Ghana Employers Association. Has also worked at George Mason University and the IMF.
