Chigozie Nweke-Eze is a research fellow with the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA). He is also a research associate at the University of Bonn, Germany, where he is part of the Future Rural Africa Project funded by the prestigious German Research Foundation (DFG). Chigozie researches understanding the financing, governance, policies, geographies and infrastructures for energy systems in Africa from economic geography, development economics and political economy perspectives. He previously worked as a consultant for several organizations, including for the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Nigerian Women Agro-Allied Farmers Association (NIWAAFA). He is currently finishing his PhD in economic geography at the University of Bonn. He received his Masters in Development Economics and International Studies from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as well as M.Sc and B.Sc in Economics from Imo State and Nnamdi Azikiwe Universities in Nigeria.
