Kai Cash was the 2022 Entrepreneur in Residence of the Hub, and is currently Founder of Kai Cash and Company. Previously, he was a venture capital investor at Primary Venture Partners in New York focusing on climate technology, a finance controller at Microsoft aiding in the building and maintaining of financial models to efficiently spend Microsoft’s internal carbon tax revenue and the construction of Microsoft’s carbon offset portfolio, and the lead on partnerships at Right to Start. He now focuses on carbon removal, alternative financing for developing countries, economic development, the Caribbean, Africa, and small island developing states (SIDS).

Kai earned his MS in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University as a Schwarzman Scholar and is a member of Harvard Business School’s Class of 2025. Kai earned his BA in Economics from Williams College in Williamstown, MA where he was a Questbridge Scholar, Gates Millennium Scholar, and Class President. Kai is a native of the Bronx, New York, and the son of two Jamaican immigrants.
