Lisa Pinsley is an Advisor of the Energy for Growth Hub and the Head of Middle East & Africa for Energy at Actis, managing energy investments across the region. Lisa has over 20 years’ global experience, including prior positions at The AES Corporation, Globeleq and American Capital. Before her in the power sector, Lisa lived and worked in Afghanistan for five years, first with the United Nations and then as a chief of staff advisor to the Afghan Finance Minister.
Lisa holds an MBA with honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MA in Literature with distinction from the University of Sussex, and a BA cum laude in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvard University.
