Robert Stoner is the deputy director for science and technology at the MIT Energy Initiative, and is the founding director of the Tata Center for Technology and Design, an MIT graduate program that seeks to help address unmet needs in India and the developing world with advanced technology and social science. He earned his Ph.D. in physics from Brown University.
